A List of Meat Consumed.

A List of Meat Consumed at the Welcome Party:

Chicken Liver - Chewy meat, the taste is a little off that of muscle, but on the whole not bad.

Liver (Unidentified, but not chicken) - Also chewy, a little stronger in taste than the chicken liver.

Pork Stomach Lining - Very chewy, to the point where after a minute or two, you find yourself finally saying "forget it" and swallowing it whole.

Tongue (Unidentified) - Chewy, but pleasantly so. Tasted like beef. Probably was.

Raw Horse Meat (Horse Sashimi) - Japanese delicacy, eaten with raw onions in soy sauce. Surprisingly good. A soft meat, that was unlike the rest, not chewy.

Sun Aversion.

While many young women in America flock to sunny yards and beaches in the summer, and coffin-like tanning beds in the winter, the young women of Japan and Korea are busy doing their upmost to avoid electromagnetic radiation in its sun tanning wavelengths. Many of the female teachers will wear windbreakers and large brimmed hats in the oppressive, humid heat of the summer to avoid darkening their arms. Perhaps the strangest form of this sun aversion is the common practice among Japanese women to wear long white gloves which reach up to their elbows when they drive.
